Introducing: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar (Live Photos)

The Master Control Chronometre collection is Jaeger-LeCoultre's newest release in years. The design that draws a direct line from the 1973 Master Mariner Chronomètre's integrated-bracelet proposition to contemporary expectations of wearable sophistication. Making its debut at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, the collection launches across three models. The Perpetual Calendar is the most compelling timepiece delivered in a 39 mm case at 9.2 mm thick, powered by an in-house movement measuring just 4.72 mm. Available in either stainless steel or 18K pink gold.

Things to Know About the Watch

The integrated three-row bracelet flows seamlessly from the case, with central links alternating between satin-brushed flat surfaces and polished triangular prisms, while the outer rows carry V-shaped bevels that echo the geometry of the slim Dauphine hands and faceted applied indexes. It is a coherent design language executed with genuine rigor, not cosmetic coherence. The sunray-brushed dials graduate from lighter at the center to darker at the edges, the steel version in blue-grey, the pink gold in warm bronze. Sub-dials feature an outer opaline ring and a central azuré finish; the moon disc uses platinum leaf for the steel reference and hammered gold for the pink gold. The steel model weighs 121 grams, while the 18K pink gold model is not top-heavy at only 146 grams.

The collection introduces Jaeger-LeCoultre's new HPG—High Precision Guarantee—seal, a proprietary certification that subjects each cased watch to a patent-pending protocol simulating a full week of wear in three days, cycling through temperature variations between 18 °C and 35 °C, multi-directional shocks between 25G and 50Gs, and alternating position sequences. Every watch in the collection also carries COSC chronometer certification, with both marks engraved on the case back.

The Movement

Calibre 868 is the latest generation of a perpetual calendar movement Jaeger-LeCoultre has been refining for years, and it shows in the execution. At 4.72 mm thick, the movement accommodates a full perpetual calendar across four sub-dials—months and double-digit year at 12 o'clock, day of the week at 3, date at 9, moon phase at 6—while maintaining a case thickness that competes with simple three-hand watches.

The perpetual calendar requires no manual correction until 2100 as long as the watch remains wound, and all calendar indications can be synchronized through a single corrector. A silicon escapement improves energy efficiency and magnetic resistance. The movement beats at 28,800 vph and delivers a 70-hour power reserve. The movement finishing carries Côtes de Genève on the bridges, beveled edges at 45 degrees, sunk jewels, and polished screw heads—the full range of decorative techniques mandated by the HPG certification.

On the Wrist & Price

At 39 mm in diameter and 9.2 mm in thickness with a fully integrated bracelet, the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar wears with the kind of confidence that comes from proportions that have been thought through rather than defaulted to. The total weight is 121 grams in steel and 146 grams in pink gold—substantial but not fatiguing.

The single corrector perpetual calendar and the dual HPG/COSC certification make a compelling functional case; the Dauphine-inspired design language gives it a coherent aesthetic identity. This is JLC making the case that integrated-bracelet complications belong in the same conversation as anything currently commanding the market's attention.

Sticker Price USD 45,700 for steel and USD 83,500 for pink gold. More info on Jaeger-LeCoultre here.
