Watch Collecting Lifestyle (WCL) is an independent digital publication covering the global luxury watch industry through a serious collector's lens—reviewing, analyzing, and editorializing on timepieces from haute horlogerie maisons like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Söhne, and Breguet, among others, as well as independent watchmakers. Beyond watches, WCL extends into the broader luxury lifestyle orbit through the Sybarite Guide, covering luxury goods, fine spirits, brand events, and experiential content from the world of high-end living. The publication maintains accredited press access to major industry events, including Watches and Wonders Geneva, and produces original editorial across formats, ranging from Introducing pieces and Insider analysis to Perspectives and From the Editor columns. Its voice is credential-forward and collector-first—explicitly distinguished from promotional journalism, with 36-plus years of personal collecting experience anchoring its editorial authority.
WCL was founded in 2013 by Halim Trujillo, who serves as Editor-in-Chief. All content is produced with objective, hands-on reviews and original live photography. The luxury goods paired with featured timepieces are carefully curated and owned by WCL Media LLC.

After a successful 20-year career in marketing and media, he launched this website to share his passion for watches and the luxury items that accompany the lifestyle of a true watch collector. He brings deep knowledge of the watchmaking industry and a strong consumer understanding of luxury goods.
He has been an avid watch collector for 35 years. He has collected more than two hundred different watches across different brands, including Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Söhne, Alpina, Armin Strom, Bell & Ross, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Breitling, Bvlgari, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Corum, CVSTOS, Doxa, Ebel, Frederique Constant, Glashütte Original, Girard-Perregaux, Hamilton, HYT, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Oris, Omega, Panerai, Piaget, Rolex, Sinn, Seiko, TAG Heuer, Tissot, Tudor, Zenith, to name a few.
