IWC has spent ninety years building watches for aviation. Pilot's watches—purpose-built, legible, robust— are among the most consistent expressions of the brand's identity. The new Pilot's Venturer Vertical Drive presented at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 does not extend that tradition so much as it uses it as a launch point for something categorically different.

Rare Bird: IWC Portugieser Constant Force Tourbillon Edition Green. Hands-On Review and Explanation.
In 2018, IWC added some exclusive models for their 150th anniversary, including the Portugieser Constant Force Tourbillon Edition ‘150 Years’, then, in 2019, they presented the Big Pilot’s Watch Constant Force Tourbillon Edition ‘Le Petit Prince’ in platinum and other editions followed.
