BLANCPAIN

Founded in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain, Blancpain is one of the world’s oldest watch brands nested in Villeret, Switzerland in the Vallée de Joux. With the 1926 Harwood, the first automatic wristwatch, Blancpain reached the first milestone. To date, the brand’s iconic pieces are the 1953 Fifty Fathoms, one of the first modern dive watches, and the 1735 Grande Complication, born in 1991. As of 2002, the Villeret collection, named after the company’s birthplace, has become another classic.
