UNIMATIC's collaboration playbook has always leaned toward cultural adjacency over pure horological flex— and the Modello Tre ref. U3S-T-AA (Automobili Amos), developed with Italian restomod house Automobili Amos and created exclusively for SEASE, is a clean expression of that instinct.
For those unfamiliar with SEASE, it is a Milan-based premium clothing brand founded by Franco and Giacomo Loro Piana—yes, that Loro Piana family—bridging Italian tailoring with outdoor performance through technical fabrics, natural materials, and a design philosophy that treats function and elegance as the same conversation.
The Automobili Amos collaboration already exists within SEASE's world as the "Safari Rally_Kit," a full apparel capsule inspired by East African rally culture, and the U3S-T-AA is the watch extension of that partnership. A Titanium chronograph in a limited edition of 30 pieces. One retail channel.
Things to Know About the Watch
The U3S-T-AA is built on UNIMATIC's automatic chronograph architecture—the Modello Tre platform executed here in full Grade 2 titanium. The sandblasted case measures 40 mm and is 15.2 mm thick. At 77 grams on the head alone, it wears noticeably lighter than the numbers suggest.
The bezel is a 120-click mono-directional unit with a titanium insert carrying a deep acid-etched tachymeter scale—not ceramic, not aluminum, just matched titanium with surface texture doing the visual work. Two oversized screw-down chronograph pushers flank UNIMATIC's signature Alchemical Sun crown at 8 mm, and together with a 2.5 mm-thick double-domed sapphire crystal and inner AR coating, deliver 300 meters of water resistance.
The dial is in titanium gray with a clean two-subdial chronograph layout. Warm gray accents are contrasted by safari orange reverse lollipop markers, hands, and matching SuperLumiNova GL in dark orange. Running seconds at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute chrono totalizer at 3 o’clock. It is a restrained color palette with one deliberate pop, functional rather than decorative.
The watch ships with a rubber safari-orange TPU quick-release strap and sandblasted titanium hardware, plus a second Solaro fabric strap with a leather lining and Havana brown Essex leather keepers. That second strap is the SEASE connection, made tangible through textile craft and material intention, pulled directly from their world.
The Movement
Beating inside this watch is the Sellita SW510 BH b, an automatic chronograph calibre rated to chronometer standards at ±5 seconds per day. It beats at 28,800 vph to provide a minimum 56-hour power reserve. The rotor is visible through a sapphire display case back engraved with UNIMATIC branding. It is a workhorse Swiss chronograph movement, nothing special, but correctly specified and independently tested.
Summary & Price
The U3S-T-AA sits at an intersection UNIMATIC navigates well: limited enough to matter, technically honest, and designed with a clear point of view rather than a list of concessions. The Automobili Amos partnership grounds it in the Italian restomod ethos with purposeful engineering and anti-standard aesthetics. While the SEASE exclusivity gives it a retail identity that matches the product's restraint, the 30-piece limitation is a genuine constraint, not a marketing gesture.
Each watch is individually numbered, delivered in a co-branded tough case with a unique ID warranty card, backed by a 24-month worldwide warranty, and available exclusively through SEASE.
