Present in sporting competitions since 1907, Pirelli is the exclusive supplier for the World Superbike championship and many prestigious single marque championships, but above all of the Formula One Championship for which it has been the sole supplier since 2011.

Released in January of 2017 at the SIHH in Geneva, the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie ExoTourbillon Rattrapante in a limited edition of 8 pieces is one of the most complicated and most expensive watches from Montblanc. Combining Montblanc's patented ExoTourbillon with a monopusher split-seconds chronograph, the beating heart inside this watch is of course a Minerva movement from Villeret. During the 1930s, the workshop’s fascination with recording elapsed time led to the production of split-seconds stopwatches, also known as “rattrapante” chronographs, from the French word “to catch up”.

One of the most impressive timepieces we've ever reviewed and the very first time we got to play with a Grande Sonnerie watch, please meet the new Greubel Forsey Grande Sonnerie, an exceptional timepiece that took 11 years of Research & Development and that combines a Petite and Grande Sonnerie with a Tourbillon in one watch. This is by far, one of the three most impressive watches presented at the SIHH 2017. Composed of no less than 935 parts in addition to the filling of two patents, the development of an acoustic resonance cage producing an extremely pure sound like this one was a true feat for the team at Greubel Forsey.

One of those watches that didn't get much attention or exposure at the SIHH 2017 is the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Chronograph in black ceramic with rose gold hands and rose gold crown and pushers. If you thought that all other JLC Master Compressor Chronographs in black ceramic were sporty, wait until you see how awesome this new watch got thanks to the perfect combination of 18K rose gold with black. Fitted with a matte black ceramic case measuring 46 mm in diameter and 14.27 in thickness.
