Rare Bird: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time ref. 47450. Much Nicer than its Successor.
Last Friday November 17th, 2017 a new iteration of the classic Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time was released at the Dubai Watch Week. After looking at the differences between the new reference we announced here and the discontinued reference 47450 we have on this feature, we really think that the discontinued model is much nicer as it comes with a stronger Vacheron Constantin aura and a way more classic and intricate design —perhaps we are biased as we own the earlier reference.
News:Pre-SIHH 2018 Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time ref. 7900V with New Design and In-House Movement

Experience: Fauré Le Page Messenger Bag. A Fantastic Bag from the Oldest French Luxury 'Maroquinier'.
Established 38 years earlier than Vacheron Constantin —which happens to be the oldest watch manufacture in the world founded in 1755 with over 260 years of uninterrupted history—, Fauré Le Page is today the oldest French luxury 'maroquinier' —leather goods company— in the world as it was established in 1717, more than a century before Goyard and Louis Vuitton. Much like a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time that is reserved for those that know, Fauré Le Page would be the equivalent when it comes to luxury leather goods.

Insider: Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 42 mm ref. 1110U White Gold. An Elegant and Timeless Watch Reminescent of the 1950s.
For most people, any thin wristwatch with a diameter under 38 mm that is fitted with an alligator strap is considered a dress watch and meant to be worn with a suit or in a formal setting. Well, since most people think that way, Vacheron Constantin decided to break the mold and created a larger case size for its Patrimony watch making it more suitable for everyone and for most occasions. While we can't deny that this watch looks much better when paired with a suit or a tuxedo, we also can't deny the fact that it also looks great while wearing a pair of jeans and sneakers.
