There is no complication to lean on here, no numerically dense dial to signal effort. The Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Petite Seconde Anniversaire, introduced at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 as part of Parmigiani Fleurier's 30th-anniversary novelties, features hours, minutes, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, and asks the case, the dial, and the movement to bear the full weight of that simplicity. That the watch succeeds is a testament to how deeply the brand understands its own design language.
Things to Know About the Watch
Limited to 30 pieces, the 40.6 mm platinum case maintains the Toric's proportional discipline at 8.8 mm thick. Slim, with the knurled bezel now matched by an identically treated case back ring, a first for the collection. The dial is 18K white gold in Morning Blue, hand-hammered—tremblage—through 60 individual manual operations, creating a surface that interacts with light differently from every angle. No two dials will be identical. Limited to 30 numbered pieces, each case back engraved with its place in the edition.
The Movement
The PF780 manual-wound manufacture calibre composed of 157 parts beats at 28,800 vph and provides a power reserve of 60 hours. Its solid 18K rose gold bridges are finished with double hand-guilloché ‘Clous de Paris’ and ‘Filet sauté’. Fully visible through the sapphire case back, the movement is exquisitely finished, also with hand-beveled steel components providing contrast throughout.
On the Wrist & Price
Despite its heavy platinum density, the Toric Petite Seconde Anniversaire will carry a presence that belies its thinness. Platinum's density gives even restrained proportions a commanding quality on the wrist. Paired with a hand-stitched Pearl Grey alligator strap and a platinum pin buckle, it reads as a thoroughly considered dress watch, with no superfluous detail in sight.
The Petite Seconde Anniversaire may be the purest object in Parmigiani Fleurier's 2026 lineup and possibly the most demanding to appreciate fully. Limited to 30 pieces only.
