Introducing: Piaget Polo Signature Date 42—Bracelet and Rubber Strap (Live Photos)

Piaget arrived at Watches & Wonders 2026 with a familiar face wearing a new expression. The Polo Signature Date 42 is not a reinvention; it is a deepening. Taking the well-established cushion-shaped sports watch architecture that has anchored Piaget's contemporary lineup since 2016, the Maison has grafted the gadroon motif directly onto the dial, a detail that traces back to the original 1979 Polo 79 and the design vision of Yves Piaget himself. The result closes a loop that collectors have long sensed was incomplete.

Things to Know About the Watch

The 42 mm stainless steel case retains its proven proportions—9.4mm thick, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces—and the gadroon-sculpted blue dial is now the defining feature. Horizontal ridges traverse the surface with a rhythm that reads as deliberate and considered rather than decorative for its own sake. Reminiscent of the gadroons on the Polo 79, the depth of the dial is now the biggest differentiator. Rhodium-finished hands, tapered indices, and SuperLumiNova treatment ensure the dial remains functional in all conditions, while the trapezoid date window sits at 6 o'clock.

The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters. The watch is available on an integrated stainless steel bracelet ref. G0A51032, including an additional interchangeable blue rubber strap, or sold on a rubber strap ref. G0A51031 without the bracelet. This new watch is also available in 18K rose gold with a blue dial, in stainless steel with a rhodium-finished dial and khaki rubber strap, or in steel with a blue dial and a diamond bezel and diamond markers.

The Movement

Powering the Piaget Polo Signature Date 42 is the in-house calibre 1110P. This 180-part self-winding movement beating at 28,800 vph, delivers a 50-hour power reserve. The movement is equipped with a hacking mechanism that stops the balance wheel and facilitates precise time-setting. The movement is visible through a sapphire crystal case back.

On the Wrist & Price

The Polo Signature Date 42 wears with the ease of a well-resolved sports watch, substantial without bulk, the integrated bracelet option drawing the case into a seamless whole. Piaget delivers the bracelet configuration with an additional blue rubber strap included in the box, offering two distinct registers from a single purchase: dressed and casual. The rubber strap references are the natural entry point, pairing the gadroon dial with a more relaxed wearing experience and genuine versatility. Definitely going with the stainless steel bracelet reference is a much better proposition.

Sticker Price USD 14,000 on rubber strap and USD 16,200 on steel bracelet with an additional rubber strap. For more info on Piaget, click here.
