If regular stainless steel Rolex Daytonas seem scarce nowadays, just imagine how hard it is to run into a modified Rolex Daytona like the Artisans de Genève Rubens Barrichello Gold Daytona we are talking about. Artisans de Genève is a watchmaking workshop based in Geneva, Switzerland that offers exclusive service of watch modification for private customers. Their modifications are made exclusively upon request, at their workshops in Switzerland, all done by independent and highly skilled watchmakers
News: Presenting the Audemars Piguet [Re]master01 Selfwinding Chronograph
People are very cognizant of the design shakeup that took place in the 1970s and in the early 2000s. However, creative expressions of case form and dial design have occurred during every decade of our history. For the new Audemars Piguet [Re]master01, the brand is exploring the strength and elegance of one of their chronograph wristwatches from 1943 through the prism of 2020. This is not a historic reissue but a contemporary remastering of one of their past creations.
News: Presenting the MB&F HM10 Bulldog. Available in Titanium and Red Gold.
The relationship between man and watch is as nuanced as the one between man and dog. Therefore, MB&F has decided to launch a new timepiece to celebrate this relationship. The new MB&F HM10 Bulldog features a rounded, compact body of titanium or red gold, coupled with a generous ration of sapphire crystal. Two prominent aluminum time-display ‘eyes’, rolling at anyone who dares look its way. A collar studded with projections that allow you to wind the mainspring or set the time. Stout but flexible ‘legs’ that wrap firmly around your wrist. A massive jaw. And above all, a big heart beating steadily at 2.5Hz —18,000vph.

Rare Bird: IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Galápagos Islands Edition
One of the coolest watches out there and one of our favorite almost blacked out timepieces is the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Galapagos Islands Edition ref. IW376705. This timepiece is the first watch in the industry to be fully coated in rubber since the release of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rubber Clad that came out in 2002 with only its bezel coated in rubber. The Aquatimer Chronograph Galapagos features a 44 mm stainless steel vulcanized in black rubber making it a totally stealthy watch. Released in 2009, this watch made a statement about a new partnership for the environment when IWC signed an agreement with the Charles Darwin Foundation.
News: Presenting the Breguet Classique ref. 7137 and Classique ref. 7337

Rare Bird: Urwerk UR-110 Eastwood with an Ebony Case and Limited to 5 Pieces
Spotting a Urwerk timepiece in the wild is already a rarity; therefore, running into a Urwerk UR-110 Eastwood with an ebony top case is even rarer. The UR-110 continues to be Urwerk’s radical tradition of telling the time using orbiting satellite complications. In the UR-110, time is always shown on the right side of the watch. In the case of the Urwerk Eastwood, the case measuring 47 mm x 51 mm x 16 mm is made out of ebony precious wood. Unconventional in terms of time telling but also very unconventional in terms of the use of precious wood for the top part of the case. This is the final timepiece in the UR-110 series.
Experience: Las Garrafas Máscara de Xaguar Naranja Mezcal. Like a Daytona and a Royal Oak, Always Evolving.
Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave and the word comes from the Nahuatl language mexcalli, which means ‘oven-cooked agave’. While all tequilas are considered mezcals, not all mezcals can be tequilas. Even though tequila and mezcal are both agave-based distilled spirits, tequila can only be made out of blue agave —agave tequilana— and that is one of the main differences between these two Mexican spirits, not to mention the prominent smoky flavor of mezcal on the palate.
Rare Bird: Rolex GMT Master ref. 1675 Pepsi from Former Mexican President José López Portillo
I was born just a few years before President José López Portillo y Pacheco took office in Mexico in 1976 and I spent much of my childhood drooling over the president’s watches —including a stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo ref. 5402ST—, his sense of style and extravagant lifestyle. Thanks to López Portillo and to the line of business in which my family was involved, we had a bonanza era. Sadly, for the majority of the country and for businessmen like Manuel Espinosa Yglesias —the owner of Bancomer—, it was the worst presidential term ever. Abundance, mostly driven by oil prices turned into a disastrous presidential term after the banking system was nationalized in 1982.

News: Presenting the H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Concept Limited Editions
It has been five years since H. Moser & Cie. released their first purely minimalist Concept model, equipped with a dial void of indices or logo. Driven by a desire to return to the essential, the Schaffhausen manufacture has redefined the notion of luxury, human watchmaking: by stripping away the superfluous and focusing not simply on displaying the time, but embodying a true expression of emotion. The Concept series was so successful that H. Moser & Cie. decided to include it in its collection. The fumé dial has become the brand's signature - even without a logo - so much so that 'fumé' is now automatically associated with H. Moser & Cie.

Like Homer’s fearless hero, Ulysse Nardin has once again gone to Xtremes to visit the furthermost forces of nature with its two new Freak X timepieces. The Freak X Ice in titanium and the Freak X Magma in lava red carbon fiber and titanium black DLC will make you fear the cold and crave the burn.

News: Presenting the Breitling AVI ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition
In 1953, Breitling launched its Ref. 765 AVI, a pilot’s watch —AVI stood for “aviation”— known as the “Co-Pilot”. It had a particularly bold look with a rotating bezel and oversized Arabic numerals, and its impressive legibility made it a favorite among aviators. Breitling is honoring this classic chronograph’s legacy with the AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition. The new AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition is a carefully researched and crafted re-edition of the legendary Co-Pilot and is based on one of the early iterations from that year.
