Experience: Opening of the Richard Mille Dallas Boutique in Highland Park Village

Yesterday May 5th, 2025, we attended the grand opening of the Richard Mille Dallas Boutique in Highland Park Village which marks yet another significant moment for the luxury watch collecting community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Nestled within the prestigious community of Highland Park in Dallas, Texas lies America's first and oldest outdoor shopping center—a destination that seamlessly blends historic significance with contemporary luxury. Highland Park Village stands as a testament to refined taste and architectural elegance where visitors are immediately transported to a setting reminiscent of European sophistication, with its distinctive Mediterranean-inspired architecture, verdant landscaping, and intimate courtyard spaces.

The village's cobblestone pathways guide guests through an exclusive collection of world-class retailers, where luxury fashion houses like Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, Dior, Chanel, and Hermès—among others—, showcase their finest offerings. Additionally, in the past five years, Highland Park Village has also turned into a destination for watch lovers with boutique openings by Panerai, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, and most recently Vacheron Constantin.

The new Richard Mille Dallas Boutique is located around the corner from the entrance to Park House and Chanel and is one of the most impressive boutiques from the brand and its layout and dimensions make it now, one of the largest in America. This boutique is managed by Material Good, who also happens to manage the Audemars Piguet Dallas Boutique. The boutique's exceptional two-story design creates an unparalleled environment for clients. Its privileged location in this iconic Dallas landmark provides local watch collectors unprecedented access to Richard Mille’s curated selection of the brand’s iconic timepieces, each a masterpiece of engineering and design.

Just like the rest of the Richard Mille boutiques, the new Richard Mille Dallas boutique that just opened yesterday May 5th, 2025, represents the perfect fusion of luxury watchmaking artistry and cutting-edge interior design. This retail space is carefully crafted to reflect the brand's commitment to technical innovation, exceptional craftsmanship, and avant-garde aesthetics. The boutique includes five different rooms with unique looks and feels, and each of these can be closed as a private space for the client’s privacy or to host a special showing of timepieces. There’s even a very cool room with a pool table that can be enjoyed during private events. The center of the boutique is a space that invites its visitors to enjoy the timepieces on display and its grandeur gives the boutique a very special touch.

The boutique of course includes the usual architectural and interior design elements of other Richard Mille boutiques like clean, geometric lines with a focus on asymmetry and dynamic angles, premium materials including brushed metals, high-grade glass, open floor plans that create a sense of transparency and fluidity and dramatic lighting schemes that highlight both the watches and architectural elements.

On display, at the Richard Mille Dallas Boutique, we enjoyed taking a second look at the recently released RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari we brought you here—which we reviewed in Paris back in March— as well as other watches like the elusive RM 74-02 Automatic Tourbillon, and the RM 17-02 Tourbillon.

Seating areas feature contemporary, sculptural furniture pieces with ergonomic designs. Sales counters and consultation tables are typically crafted from innovative materials with tactile finishes that invite touch and exploration. As far as the hors d'oeuvres during the opening night, these were just exceptional with an array that included wagyu, truffle, duck and seafood based delights.

And the icing on the cake, is that one of the VIP guests at the opening was wearing the incredible RM 72-01 Charles Leclerc limited edition of 150 pieces. An impressive watch that we had not been able to peruse until now. Huge thanks to Richard Mille and Material Good for inviting WCL to the opening of the new boutique.
