Experience: Magnanni Camarena Cuero Sneakers. Still Made in Spain by its Founding Family.

Founded by Sebastian Blanco in 1954, Magnanni started making shoes at a five-employee factory in the small town of Almansa in the La Mancha region of Spain. As a side note, the region of La Mancha was made famous by the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha —or just Don Quixote—, the main character in the Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes that is today one of the greatest masterpieces of world literature. Published in two parts, in 1605 and 1615, Don Quixote is the most influential work of literature from the Spanish Golden Age and the entire Spanish literary canon.

Still, in the hands of its founding family very much like Audemars Piguet, Magnanni is lead by Pascual Blanco, the third generation of the Blanco family. His six children —Miguel, Sebastián, Pascual, Julio, Luis, and Rocio— are fully involved in the operation of the company to this day. Quickly turning into one of the leading luxury shoemakers in Spain and Europe, Magnanni’s commitment to quality and superior craftsmanship and design still remains intact.

Slightly similar in looks to the Sapor or Nico sneakers, the Camarena sneakers are the cornerstone of Magnanni fashion runner shoes. Slightly resembling the unmistakable patina of Berluti shoes, the Camarena in Cuero color are bold hand-painted shoes endowed with the traditional Magnanni silhouette. A perforated lambskin lining gives a soft padded feel for all-day comfort. Styled with a hand-stitched leather toe accent, contrasting heel stripe, and a rugged sole, the Camarena is a perfect versatile sneaker for almost any occasion.

Available in sizes 7 through 13, the Magnanni Camarena Cuero are also available in navy. Comfortable, stylish and exclusively available at Magnanni.com or Neiman Marcus, these shoes are as perfect as an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 15500 for daily wear.
