After finally meeting in person this friendly Londoner at the Hotel Les Trois Rois during Baselworld 2018, all we can say is that his content on Instagram is not ‘smoke and mirrors’ but the real deal.

Today, we start a new installment called 'Watch Stories', because every vintage watch, passed down family heirloom or preowned watch comes with a little bit of history. As many of you know, over the past six months, the visibility of accounts with a very large number of followers like ours, has been compromised by Instagram's desire to drive up their advertising revenue. As our following on Instagram has plateaued at the 125,800 follower mark and the number of likes per post have significantly dropped no matter how hard we try, we find it harder and harder to feel motivated to spend as much time posting as we used to and liking posts of those that we follow.

We still can't believe that they were selected by Panerai as the only media partner to cover that event. Well, let's get back on the topic. Last Tuesday September 13th, 2016, in partnership with Arnold & Son, we hosted a casual dinner in New York City, where some of the finest watch collectors in the city joined us for a night filled with Negronis, good food and very exclusive timepieces at the Lafayette Grand Café in the East Village. In what we can describe as a relaxing laid back evening, collectors were able to peruse not only most of the timepieces in the Arnold & Son collection, but also some of the spectacular watches from their sister company Angelus.
