At the end of last year we ran into this rare bird. This unique piece from Armin Strom, is inspired by the design of the Armin Strom Tourbillon Fire —full 18K rose gold piece— but fitted with a very unique baguette diamond-set bezel with 45 VVS1 diamonds with a total weight of 2.8 carats. The case measuring 43.4 mm x 13 mm is made of 18K rose gold and the diamond set bezel is a one-off piece rarely seen from the masters of skeletonization out of Bern.

As we go hands-on with the new Sherman —a cute little robot— that doesn't walk, talk, weld cars, or roam Mars, but that tells time and puts a smile on your face every time you look at it. Conceived and developed by MB&F and engineered and crafted by L’Epée 1839, Sherman is the result of Maximilian Büsser’s on-going quest to revisit his childhood, during which he hankered for a robot friend.

Presented at the SIHH 2016, all three models in the Top Gun line from IWC had undergone a few modifications. The new IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII Top Gun Miramar ref. Here's another one of our favorite pieces from IWC this year at the SIHH 2016 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève. For three years now, IWC has returned to the theme of Saint-Exupéry’s 'Little Prince' with special editions. At the SIHH 2016, four Pilot’s Watches were presented featuring the typical midnight blue dial and brown calfskin strap with beige contrast stitching, typical of the 'Le Petit Prince' limited editions.
