Despite we are big Porsche fans here at WCL, a red Ferrari is always one of those cars that sparks our interest and one that we consider to be very special, much like an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph with blue dial. Just like a Ferrari stands out from the crowd, the same goes for an AP Royal Oak Chrono and no matter where in the world you are, both a Ferrari and a Royal Oak have a very unmistakable look. For the last 71 years, Ferrari has been the benchmark when it comes to legendary sports cars and for 46 years, AP changed the course of the watch industry with the release of the Royal Oak in 1972.
The Watch Collectors: @Bharmon417. A Young Watch Collector that Happens to Also be an Incredible Photographer.
If you follow watch content accounts on Instagram that are known for some of the best photography, then the handle @Bharmon417 might not be new to you. A young watch collector that happens to also be a professional photographer, @Bharmon417 is not only passionate about Panerai, Audemars Piguet and Rolex, but all those other things we like to refer here at WCL as the good life. With eye-catching photo compositions that are the perfect embodiment of the hashtag #WatchLife we created five years ago, @Bharmon417 is a watch collector truly enjoying the journey and not so worried about the destination…
The Watch Collectors: @APKStyle. A Real Watchlifestyler Passionate About the Finer Things in Life.
What started as a simple ‘Follow Back’ on the ‘Gram’ has now turned into a friendship with a fine Irish gentleman that calls London his home. With an eye for photography, a passion for the good life and a real addiction to Goyard and Mount Street Shoe Company loafers comes @APKStyle. After finally meeting in person this friendly Londoner at the Hotel Les Trois Rois during Baselworld 2018, all we can say is that his content on Instagram is not ‘smoke and mirrors’ but the real deal.
Watch Stories: Gone but Not Forgotten, Because Every Watch Has a Story. 'Dad's Missing Watch' by Matt Jackson.
Today, we start a new installment called 'Watch Stories', because every vintage watch, passed down family heirloom or preowned watch comes with a little bit of history. Unlike the rest of our content, these stories are shared and written by the actual watch collectors owning these watches. For these new section, our involvement will be limited to photographing the watches in their full glory and to editing, proofreading and style correcting the write-ups.
