The journey expanded with a 2023 Limited Edition in sophisticated British racing green, followed by a striking high-gloss blue variant in 2024, each restricted to just 33 pieces. Now, the story continues with the 2025 Limited Edition: HM8 Mark 2 Purple, limited to 33 pieces and adorned with lustrous purple body panels that echo the luxurious finishes of the world's most coveted supercars.
The HM8 Mark 2 Purple captivates with its distinctive radiance, achieved through mineral-origin metallic pigments reminiscent of premium automotive paint formulations. These specialized pigments undergo integration into translucent resin via MB&F's proprietary methodology—meticulously orchestrated with precise timing, temperature control, mixing velocity, and duration—delivering both visual depth and technical superiority.
The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Purple is cased in Grade 5 Titanium and purple CarbonMacrolon body panels and is limited to 33 pieces. The case is composed of 42 parts and measures 47 mm x 41.5 mm x 19 mm. The sapphire crystals on the top, front, and display back are treated with an anti-reflective coating on both faces. The HM8 Mark 2 Purple features dual reflective sapphire crystal prisms with an integrated magnifying lens.
These timepieces transcend mere automotive inspiration—they function as authentic drivers' companions. The lateral time presentation enables effortless reading without removing hands from the steering wheel. And last, but not least, the battle axe rotor that powers the movement is incredibly complex to make as one of the 22K gold blades is only two-tenths of a millimeter thick. It cannot possibly be machined so it had to be stamped, with the engraving already incorporated into the stamp.
