News: Rolex Ambassador Jordan Spieth Wins 'The Open' and Wears his Rolex Explorer II ref. 216570

Jordan Spieth’s rise to golf prominence can be traced back to the athletic family into which he was born in 1993 in Dallas, Texas. A left-handed pitcher, Spieth gave up baseball at age 12 to focus on golf and quickly became one of the most heralded junior players. Winning two U.S. Junior Amateur Championships he's the second player after Tiger Woods to ever win multiple Juniors. A first-team All-American three times for the American Junior Golf Association —AJGA.

As many of you now know, Jordan Spieth has now become the second player after Jack Nicklaus to win three golf majors before his 24th birthday —which happens to be this Thursday July 27th—after conquering 'The Open' at Royal Birkdale yesterday, July 23th, 2017.

After leading the first, second and third rounds, his lead was lost on the final round after three bogeys in his opening four holes. With Kuchar taking the lead and with five holes remaining, Jordan Spieth drove his ball 100 yards to the right of the fairway on hole 13th. After realizing the lie was unplayable, Spieth took a drop with a stroke penalty and got back in the game from the practice range area to score a bogey on that hole and then finish the round after sinking in an extra long putt for an eagle and a couple other long putts. After finishing the round, Jordan Spieth put on his Rolex Explorer II ref. 216570 for the prize ceremony.

In his honor, we have these macros of our very own Rolex Explorer II ref. 216570 that just like his, is a real stunner thanks to its white dial that is just as glossy and shinny as the dimpled face of a Titleist golf ball.

Now enjoy these images.
