The commercial aviation golden era was characterized by this exceptional watch. When you think about the Rolex GMT Master Pepsi, you think about Pan American Airways. The Rolex GMT Master was designed in collaboration with PanAm Airways and first released under reference 6542 back in 1954 and produced until 1959 when the reference 1675 replaced it. An ‘Albino’ —white dial— version of the GMT Master ref. 6542 was made exclusively available to PanAm pilots and today those few examples are highly coveted, extremely rare, and commanding astronomical prices at auction.
