Experience: Eleventy Blue Nylon and Suede Sneakers. What 'Made in Italy' and 'First Class' Entails When it Comes to Sneakers.

If you are an avid reader here at WCL or one of our longtime followers on Instagram, you know we love a good pair of fashionable sneakers. While most of the time you'll see us sporting Lanvin Captoe sneakers —like those we featured here— in every color possible, we recently discovered that Eleventy happens to make some of the nicest and most comfortable fashionable sneakers out there. Unlike the Adidas Yeezy that every celebrity and their millions of fans are wearing, this are ultra exclusive 'Made in Italy' trainers. As Eleventy says: "First Class Made in Italy". Finding a pair of this shoes is a real challenge and just as hard as finding a needle in a haystack.

Eleventy was established in Italy in 2007 by Marco Baldassari and Paolo Zuntini and finally made it to New York in 2016. With a network of 94 micro enterprises throughout Italy, their goal is to protect Italian fashion and its unique manufacturing heritage. These micro enterprises are each specialized in a particular sector of production so they can offer their customers all the quality and excellence of what 'Made in Italy' entails, just like the essence and rich history of the Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days PAM 372 we have here.

Made out of a combination of blue nylon, brown suede and wool, the design of the Eleventy sneakers is somewhat similar to that of the Valentino Garavani Rockrunner Camouflage shoes but clearly different without trying to be a copycat —it almost makes you wonder if the shoes are made by the same Italian micro enterprise that works with Valentino. Featuring a very subtle camouflage pattern on its blue nylon —only visible at certain angles—, the chocolate brown and lighter brown suede appliques give this shoe the perfect color scheme and combination of textures for Fall/Winter wear. Oh, and did we mention that the chocolate brown suede appliques feature brogues like on wingtip shoes? Yup they do.

With laces in a quite unique orangy brown and a grey wool felt tab by the heel, this sneakers could have easily been designed by Brunello Cucineli. If you are familiar with the puffer goose down jackets from Cucinelli, you know what we are talking about.

Headquartered in Milan, Eleventy owns 18 brand boutiques throughout Italy, Switzerland, Korea, Austria, France, U.K. and the U.S. and devotes their efforts to fostering ethical fashion and Italian elegance all over the world. If you like to wear exclusive and well made garments, look no further. It was so hard to get find this shoes, that we promise you that you probably won't run into anyone else with them even in Europe.

If you are a true watchlifestyler and you are tired of wearing run-of-the-mill Yeezys, overrated Christian Louboutin sneakers or those dated looking Raf Simons Adidas, you need to get a pair of these ultra comfortable Eleventys that look as good with a pair of jeans as they do with a tweed sports coat and a pair of grey wool slacks. The Eleventy sneakers are for sure one of those items that 'when you know, you know' and look even better when paired with a Panerai on Ponte Vecchio strap —the ultimate Italian classic in the world of horology.
