Baselworld 2017: Tudor Black Bay Chronograph ref. 79350. Live Pictures & Price.

This evening at a casual dinner with our friends from Tudor, the first of their novelties was presented. The new Tudor Black Bay Chronograph is the newest addition to the Heritage Black Bay collection. With a stainless steel case measuring 41 mm in diameter and a matte black dial, the new Tudor Black Bay Chronograph is an automatic 45-minute chronograph powered by the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813 which is derived from the Breitling B01 as the result of a mutual collaboration between Tudor and Breitling. Regardless, this column-wheel chronograph with vertical clutch features Tudor finishing, Tudor regulating organ and a Tudor oscillating weight. The movement provides a power reserve of 70 hours when fully wound.

The dial features running seconds at 9 o'clock, date aperture at 6 and 45-minute chrono register at 3 o'clock. The watch comes on a riveted stainless steel bracelet or on a nubuck tan leather strap.

Both options are accompanied by a denim looking navy blue jacquard fabric strap with the usual pin buckle with Tudor shield shape.

On the wrist, the new Tudor Black Bay Chronograph ref. 79350 wears true to its size and with a slight vintage feel to it. Especially when it comes to its satin brushed finished tachymetric scale bezel and its matte dial with red depth rating.

Sticker Price $4,800 USD on bracelet and $4,500 USD on strap pending final confirmation from Tudor. For more info on Tudor click here.
