News: Tudor Becomes The Official Timekeeper of the Inter Miami CF and Presents the Black Bay Chrono 'Pink'

Tudor goes pink for the very first time by becoming the official timekeeper of the Inter Miami CF soccer team. A ‘fútbol’ team in the land of football. Inter Miami CF, a soccer club bringing world-class fútbol to fans in Miami is now one of the hottest teams in just its fifth season. Tudor believes in a Born To Dare Spirit and that’s exactly what Tudor ambassador and Inter Miami Co-Owner David Beckham alongside Managing Owner Jorge Mas and Co-Owner Jose Mas represent and pursued through the audacious and visionary journey to build a fútbol Club like no other. To make the Club stand out, Inter Miami CF chose pink, an iconic color that reflects South Florida’s vibrant soul and has captivated the world. A color that represents the daring spirit of the Club and its fans. As now the Official Timekeeper of the most exciting soccer team in the U.S. you will be seeing the Tudor Shield around Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium.

Speaking of watches tied to Inter Miami CF, Tudor worked with David Beckham long before the Club was born, and many years ago Tudor presented him with a unique Tudor Pelagos model bearing the Inter Miami CF crest on the dial. David has been wearing that watch for every match. In a way, Tudor has been with Inter Miami CF since day one, only now it’s official.

Originally made together with Jay Chou and now released to the public, this new version of the Black Bay Chrono celebrates the daring spirit of the Tudor ambassadors. Jay Chou owns the color pink, so much so that it’s become his signature, recognized by anyone who follows him. When the leader of the Giro d’Italia puts on the pink jersey, there is no hesitation. The distinction is earned, and the rider is proud to wear pink. When David Beckham dreamed up Inter Miami CF, pink was incorporated into the team’s aesthetic because they had to stand out.

The new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Pink ref. M79360N-0019 might not be for everyone, and that’s OK because few of them will ever be made. The Black Bay Chrono was already quite a bold watch even before this new dial color was introduced. Since the launch in 1970 of the Oysterdate model, Tudor’s first chronograph, the brand has always produced watches that are closely tied to the world of motorsports.

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono Pink with its stainless steel case measuring 41 mm in diameter and powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5813 —with column wheel construction and vertical clutch— seamlessly fuses these traditions in a sports chronograph. The pink dial with contrasting black sub-counters and fixed 316L steel bezel with a matte black anodized aluminum disc with a tachymetric scale and silver markings makes for a very unique-looking timepiece.

The Black Bay Chrono Pink isn’t for the mainstream and only a small number of examples will be produced. The Black Bay Chrono Pink comes with a 5-year warranty, a power reserve of 70 hours, a sapphire domed crystal, a riveted stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin finish with folding clasp, and safety catch and waterproofing to 200 meters.
