Baselworld 2016: Presenting the new MCT Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps Sequential Two S210. Hands-on Review, Live Pictures & Pricing.

Still continuing with our Baselworld 2016 reporting, we present you the new MCT Watches Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps Sequential Two S210. This new watch featuring MCT's signature prism display concept is presented for the very first time in a 46.4 mm Titanium round case. The new MCT Sequential Two S210 is available in Titanium with light dial elements and blue hand and screws or in a Dark Grey DLC Titanium edition with dark dial elements and a red hand.

The innovative time display and impeccably crafted case exhibits all of the key design elements that established the Swiss brand's reputation, including a sapphire ring around the caseband.

The 'C-shape' arc rotates sequentially 90 degrees anticlockwise to highlight the new hour, while minutes are displayed 360 degrees around the full perimeter of the dial. The combination of over-sized hour numeral and central minutes offers an extremely legible time indication. Highly legible hours are indicated by four modules, each comprising of five triangular prisms. The current hour is highlighted by an open 'window' in a 'C-shape' arc around the center of the dial, which is relief-engraved with "Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps" —MCT.

Visible through the display back, the beautifully hand-finished movement bridges offer an eye-catching contrast to the warm glow of the red gold eccentric weight, screws and mainspring chaton. The automatic-winding movement with 18K gold micro-rotor was developed in-house by MCT. The lower mass of the micro-rotor requires less force than a traditional full-size rotor.

For the last three years now, MCT has realized a comprehensive vertical integration strategy and now controls all essential stages of their production process, including movement design through to final assembly. With its captivating displays and no-compromise design, the Sequential 210 reinforces MCT's lofty position in high-end contemporary watchmaking. Equipped with a black alligator strap and deployant buckle, the new MCT Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps Sequential Two S210 is also available with a special edition Roland Iten mechanical buckle at an additional cost.

On the wrist, the watch wears true to its size and with the same exceptional wrist presence as other MCT pieces. The titanium construction makes this watch very light and more of a daily wearer, when compared to their full gold pieces.

Sticker Price CHF 72,500 Swiss Francs for Titanium and CHF 75,500 Swiss Francs for DLC Coated Titanium. For more info on Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps MCT click here.
