Baselworld 2016: Presenting the new Arnold & Son UTTE Skeleton. Hands-on Review, Live Pictures & Pricing.

Along with all the other Baselworld 2016 novelties we've brought in the past days from Arnold & Son, today we bring you our hands-on review and live pictures of what is now the thinnest skeleton tourbillon in the market. Fitted with an elegant 42 mm 5N red gold case with a mere thickness of 8.34 mm including its cambered sapphire crystal, the new Arnold & Son UTTE Skeleton ref. 1UTAR.S10A.C320Aavailable in a limited edition of 50 pieces, is simply one of the nicest watches we reviewed this year at Baselworld 2016.

The new Arnold & Son UTTE Skeleton features a gorgeous grey rhodium-plated skeletonized dial, reduced to the essential for perfect legibility. Its figure eight-shaped dial is composed of a sapphire disc in the upper half indicating the hours and minutes with a white Roman numerals chapter ring and golden hands with white lacquered tips. At the bottom of the dial in the 6 o'clock position, a one-minute flying tourbillon completes the equation and this symphony of 'haute horlogerie' grandeur. The skeletonized bridges conforming the dial are exquisitely finished with Côtes de Genève rayonnantes and with chamfered and polished edges. Definitely a true real treat for the eyes and a wonderful spectacle for watch lovers.

Powered by the ultra-thin in-house manual wound Arnold & Son tourbillon calibre A&S8220 with a thickness of 3.30 mm, the movement features 29 jewels and provides a power reserve of 90 hours when fully wound while beating at a frequency of 21,600 vph. The movement features a tourbillon that makes a full rotation every 60 seconds and that is caged in a 14 mm cage. The movement is exceptionally hand decorated with Côtes de Genève rayonnantes and with chamfered and polished edges. Another great spectacle as you flip the watch over.

The new Arnold & Son UTTE Skeleton is fitted with an elegant hand-stitched brown or black alligator leather strap with 5N red gold pin buckle with Arnold & Son logo.

On the wrist, the watch wears true to its 42 mm size and extremely elegantly. If you are looking for the thinnest skeletonized tourbillon in the market, then look no further as the new Arnold & Son UTTE Skeleton holds that banner. But hurry up once it hits the store, because this new watch is available in a limited edition of only 50 pieces.
