Baselworld 2016: Presenting the new Patek Philippe ref. 5204R in Rose Gold. Hands-on Review, Live Pictures & Pricing.

The exceptional Patek Philippe ref. 5204 Split Seconds Chronograph Perpetual Calendar was only available in platinum up until now. This amazing watch that we like to refer to as 'what watch dreams are made of' was just released at Baselworld 2016 also in 18K rose gold. Featuring a silvery opaline dial, with gold applied hour markers with luminescent coating over an 18K gold dial plate, the new Patek Philippe ref. 5204R needs very little introduction. The grail of all grails is now also available in that stunning rose gold we all like.

The silvery opaline dial features a split seconds chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute register, perpetual calendar and one of the most iconic layouts with a double aperture at 12 o'clock for the day of the week and the month.

The Patek Philippe ref. 5204R is powered by the manual wound Patek Philippe in-house movement calibre CHR 29-535 PS Q composed of 496 parts and 34 jewels. A movement so exquisite and complicated that many would want to wear on their wrist side up. Fully visible via the display case back, the movement is one of the greatest examples of modern horology.

The new Patek Philippe Split Seconds Chronograph Perpetual Calendar ref. 5204 is now finally available in 18K rose gold or platinum. Wristshots coming up later this week.
