The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Moon Phase just got much better, now offering a clever day/night indicator built directly on the way the moon phase is displayed. If you're already wondering what we mean by this, simply look at the color of the sky that serves as the backdrop for the moon disc without any starts and in a different shade of blue. Well, thanks to the new manual wound calibre L121.3, the highly polished moon on the moon phase disc always orbits against a realistic backdrop —a bright blue sky by day and a dark blue starry sky at night.
