News: Panerai Presents Four New Military Green Dial Radiomirs. Edizione Verde Militare PAM 995, PAM 997, PAM 998 and PAM 999.

Four brand new Radiomir watches have just been released by Panerai sporting striking military green dials. Referred to as ‘Edizione Verde Militare’ in Italian —Military Green Edition—, these new four Radiomir watches are exclusively sold at the Panerai boutique network and not at the authorized dealers. Fitted with matte military green dials, the watches seek to blend in with jungle surroundings as Panerai has chosen this identifying color, reinforcing their strong historic identity and military lineage. Four interpretations, unequivocally individual in their functions, dimensions and the materials of which they are made, but conceptually connected by a common visual code of recognition as well as by the aesthetic language of the Radiomir case, with its characteristic cushion shape and integrated lugs, solidly constructed and representative of the Radiomir of the 1940s.

Three of the four watches are fitted with stainless steel cases measuring 45 mm in diameter, while a fourth one is equipped with a matte sandblasted black ceramic case measuring 48 mm —this size is a first for the Radiomir line. All four watches feature matte military green dials enhanced by domed-shaped sapphire crystals and three of them are powered by in-house automatic calibres, while the black ceramic model is powered by the manual wound calibre P.3000. All watches have a power reserve of 3 days —72 hours.

All water resistant to a 100 meters, the watches are presented in a satin-finished green cherry wood box and all supplied with two different straps always including a canvas strap in beige for the steel versions and in black for the ceramic version. The straps feature two keepers and functional reinforcing inserts in each of the holes in green leather lining.

The Radiomir 45 mm PAM00995 is fitted with the automatic P.4000 calibre with micro-rotor —Panerai’s thinnest automatic movement— and it has two hands and a small seconds hand at 9 o’clock. The watch is delivered on a dark brown ‘Ponte Vecchio’ calf leather strap and an additional beige canvas strap with green contrast stitching.

Radiomir GMT ‘Edizione Verde Militare’ PAM 00998

Then there is the second 45 mm stainless steel model developed to supply additional information such as a second time zone, am/pm indication, date aperture at 3 o’clock and power reserve indicator on its movement. Powered by the automatic calibre P. 4001, the watch is delivered on a light brown ‘Assolutamente’ suede calf leather strap and an additional beige canvas strap with green contrast stitching.

Radiomir GMT Power Reserve ‘Edizione Verde Militare’ PAM 00999

The third watch is very similar to the PAM00998 but with a power reserve indicator on the dial rather than on the movement. Powered by the automatic calibre P. 4002, the watch is delivered on a dark brown ‘Ponte Vecchio’ calf leather strap and an additional beige canvas strap with green contrast stitching.

Radiomir 48 mm Ceramica ‘Edizione Verde Militare’ PAM 00997

Lastly, our favorite watch among these four new beautiful Radiomirs is the sandblasted matte black ceramic 48 mm model. Powered by the manual wound calibre P.3000 the watch is delivered on a black ‘Ponte Vecchio’ calf leather strap with beige contrast stitching and an additional black canvas strap with green contrast stitching. This particular watch comes with a DLC-coated titanium trapezoidal clasp instead of a highly polished stainless steel one as the other watches.
