Experience: Frédéric Malle Musc Ravageur 20-Year Limited Edition. Memorable like a Royal Oak QP.

A while back we brought you a feature on Frédéric Malle, one of our favorite perfumiers, and today we bring you Frédéric Malle’s latest release. An underrated name in the world of fragrances that was introduced in 2000 as Editions de Parfums, it was presented as a completely new concept whereby the world’s greatest noses composed exclusive fragrances to be sold under their names. Founded by the grandson of the founder of Christian Dior Parfums, Frédéric Malle himself started his career in 1988 at the prestigious perfume laboratory Roure Bertrand Dupont.

Experience: Valentino Garavani Flycrew Leather Sneakers. Better when Paired with a Blue Rolex Datejust 41.

There are times when a pair of retro-looking white sneakers is all that you need to complete a very Euro-chic look along with a pair of Armani blue jeans, a navy blue merino from Ferragamo, and a Rolex Datejust 41 ref. 126300. The Valentino Garavani Flycrew leather sneakers are exactly that perfect supple, ultra-luxurious 80’s-esque retro-looking sneakers you need to have. Handmade in Italy from ultra-supple white leather, these sneakers feature a row of gunmetal colored Valentino signature rockstuds along the profile of the heel.

Experience: (Montblanc M) RED Pen by Marc Newson. Understated Like a Patek Philippe 5960/1A

Almost as much as we like watches we like writing instruments. While here at WCL we are big fans of Swiss pen maker Caran d’Ache, every once in a while there will be some pens from Montblanc that we love. While Montblanc is more mainstream when it comes to pens in the U.S., their collaboration In partnership with Marc Newson results in a very understated pen that we absolutely like. Very much like wearing the ultra understated stainless steel Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph ref. 5960/1A on the wrist.

Experience: Watch Coffee Tables by Pedro Costa. Supersized Timepieces for Your Living Room.

Pedro Acosta is the Colombian man that supersizes watches and turns them into coffee table sculptures. At a young age, he developed a fascination for building things and a great imagination while building Legos with his father, an avid car and watch lover. After graduating from college, he wanted to pursue something he would be passionate about and design quickly became his thing. Early in his career, Pedro started designing VIP lounges at FBOs —Fixed Based Operator.

Experience: Leopine GMT Airlines Shirt. The Match to that Rolex GMT Master Pepsi on Your Wrist.

Today Leopine is the synonym for apparel for watch lovers and crazy watch collectors. What first started with a line of swim trunks and afterward socks, is now a powerhouse that delivers limited edition runs of swimwear, socks, pocket squares, and now t-shirts. All inspired by the world of watches as one of his founders has been totally immersed in the watch industry, their latest release pays homage to one of the greatest watches of all time. With sales now in more than 30 countries, there is no savvy watch collector out there that is not sporting their apparel in the fanciest beaches around the world.

Experience: OPP France Lace-up Suede Sneakers Blue. A Perfect Match to Those Blue Dials.

A few weeks ago we came across the OPP France sneakers on IG and it was love at first sight. OPP stands for the eponymous designer O'Papillon and its partners in Paris. OPP has been able to master the concept of simplicity and fashion fusion and every one of their sneakers reflects the designer’s taste, full of traditional but at the same time rebellious personality. With a slight vintage look reminiscent of sneakers from the 70s and 80s, the OPP France Lace-up suede sneakers offer the perfect combination of fabric, suede, and patent leather in a striking color palette available in five different color combinations.

Experience: Fauré Le Page Watch Case for Vacheron Constantin

Here at WCL, we were the earliest adopters of the Fauré Le Page brand. Not sure whether we had anything to do with Vacheron Constantin reaching out to them for this collaboration as we shared our love for Fauré Le Page several times. Renowned for creating Napoleon's vermeil saber and Louis XVI's hunting pieces, Fauré Le Page evolved in becoming a provider of hand-painted leather holsters and gun bags for the same firearms and weapons their VIP clients were buying from them.

Experience: See a Clean Future Water Sunglasses x RVS Eyewear and Swiss Artist Ugo Rondinone

With Spring right around the corner in less than a month, it is that time when we start talking about sunglasses, swimwear and all those other objects of desire that we love here at WCL and we crave in preparation for Spring and Summer. The See a Clean Future Water Sunglasses by RVS Eyewear and Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone were conceived with a vision in mind and the four terrestrial elements. Since shaded lenses provide a filter to protect our eyes, the people at ONE, ALL, EVERY sought out a designer and an artist, to come out with these inspirational clear frame sunglasses produced in Japan.

Experience: Goyard Leather Gloves. Black and White Pairing for a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116500.

Maison Goyard along with Fauré Le Page stand out against other high-end leather makers as they remain more exclusive and hard to get. Goyard originally started as the House of Martin in 1792 by Pierre-Fraçois Martin specialized in box-making, trunk-making, and packing. In 1998 Jean-Michel Signoles —a keen collector and connoisseur of all things Goyard— acquired the company and revived Goyard’s heritage. Re-established as a beacon of timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and exclusivity,

Experience: Magnanni Camarena Cuero Sneakers. Still Made in Spain by its Founding Family.

Founded by Sebastian Blanco in 1954, Magnanni started making shoes at a five-employee factory in the small town of Almansa in the La Mancha region of Spain. As a side note, the region of La Mancha was made famous by the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha —or just Don Quixote—, the main character in the Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes that is today one of the greatest masterpieces of world literature. Published in two parts, in 1605 and 1615, Don Quixote is the most influential work of literature from the Spanish Golden Age and the entire Spanish literary canon.

Experience: Trench London Bond Harrington Jacket. Black and White Themes Like a JLC Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph.

One of the most anticipated and latest finds is the Trench London line of jackets. Trench London is a very new brand with garments sewn in limited quantities and delivered straight from England. Each month, Trench London will deliver new garments without exceeding more than 100 pieces by line and by design. Trench London carries four different types of jackets or trenchcoats for both men and women. The Trench London Bond Harrington Jacket we spotted it for the very first time worn by a British gentleman in the company of Lewis Hamilton at the Grand Prix of Austin.

Experience: Fauré Le Page Belt. A Classic Meets one of Our Favorite Belts at the Moment.

Established 38 years earlier than Vacheron Constantin —which happens to be the oldest watch manufacture in the world founded in 1755 with over 260 years of uninterrupted history—, Fauré Le Page is today the oldest French luxury 'maroquinier' —leather goods company— in the world as it was established in 1717, more than a century before Goyard and Louis Vuitton. Much like a rare Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz ref. 17000A that is reserved for those that know, Fauré Le Page would be the equivalent when it comes to luxury leather goods.

Experience: Hermès Tonight Belt. Understated, Refined and Versatile Like a Royal Oak.

If you are a lover of all things Hermès and the Constance H belt seems now too popular for you to wear as everyone and their mother wears one, don’t worry. Not long ago, the brand with the gorgeous orange boxes released one of our all time favorite H-shaped belts. The latest by Hermès is the Tonight belt. Featuring a palladium plated buckle and a Togo calfskin leather reversible strap this buckle is just an outline of the famous letter ‘H’ so that you can see the color of your belt strap through it.

Experience: Leopine Kelly's Nightmare Swim Trunks. For Members of the 'No Waiting List Club'.

If you are an avid reader of WCL, you know that when it comes to swimwear we are suckers for Vilebrequin and nothing else. Despite that, we had to give Leopine swim trunks a try, no matter what. Leopine is a relatively newish brand that started selling swimwear and pocket squares a couple of years ago. With one of his founders totally immersed in the watch industry, they decided to launch a line that would cater to watch collectors by adding subtle horological touches to their swimsuits, socks and pocket squares. Designed in Barcelona and made in Portugal, Leopine offers products for those in the ‘No Waiting List Club’.

Experience: Hermès Leather Treasure. Perfectly Designed for those Exploring the World.

When you closely examine the orange hand on the Rolex Explorer II ref. 216570 —which we reviewed here—, you'll notice that its hue, is as close as it gets to the color of those fascinating orange boxes we love from Hermès. The Hermès Leather Treasure is a clever solution for those exploring the world and wanting to take a small amount of their favorite fragrances with them.

Experience: Smythson Greenwich Holdall Bag. The Attention Grabber While Attending the SIHH in Geneva.

After receiving dozens of compliments about this bag during our time attending the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève last month, we decided to do a feature on it and tell you everything about it. At the end of the day, we know you come to WCL for the extensive watch content but also because of the good life and the occasional Paella recipe on our Instagram stories —no pun intended. As we travel the world in search for new luxury items to fall in love with, bags are one of our biggest weaknesses here at WCL and Smythson of Bond Street along with Faure Le Page are among the top of our list due to their exclusivity and understated look, very much like wearing a stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 15400ST with ruthenium toned dial.

Experience: Hermès Pavage Watch Box. There are Watch Boxes and Then There's this One.

When it comes to watch boxes, the options are infinite. From leather, to fabric, to wood, watch boxes come in all sorts of shapes and forms. And just like some watch boxes are meant to be taken around the world as you travel with your precious possessions, other watch boxes are meant to simply stay at home and be that one statement décor piece that you lust after day after day. Just like we like to say that there are watches and then there are certain watches, the same goes to watch boxes. There are watch boxes and then there’s the Hermès Pavage watch box for ten watches.

From Hublot to Richard Mille and even Audemars Piguet, these watches celebrate Halloween the right way.

Experience: Watch Art Pencil Drawings by Julie Kraulis. An Incredible Pencil Artist that Brings Watches to Life.

An incredible pencil artist like no other, Julie Kraulis is a visual artist from Toronto, Canada that has been drawing for as long as she can remember. This 36-year old artist discovered watches two years ago by pure serendipity and is currently focusing on an independent study of timepieces through a collection of graphite drawings that are out of this world. For her the pencil has been an extension of her hand, mind and soul. Since receiving a Bachelor of Design in Illustration at the Ontario College of Art & Design, she's spent most days in her studio with a pencil or paintbrush in hand working on a wide range of projects with clients worldwide.

Experience: Alfred Dunhill Boston Leather Envelope Cardholder. The Perfect Souvenir from the Launch of the Vacheron Constantin FiftySix Tourbillon in London.

A trip to London is never complete unless you make a pit stop at Harrods to stock up on some good old Alfred Dunhill stuff. Alfred Dunhill himself was a British tobacconist and founder of Alfred Dunhill Ltd. a London-based luxury goods company that today happens to be owned by the Richemont Group —yes, the same group that owns Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Söhne and Montblanc amongst other brands. What started as a small shop selling motoring accessories quickly became a tobacco shop that today is known as the tobacco Dunhill brand —now owned by British American Tobacco— and then years later progressed into a clothing store that evolved into one of the most important luxury goods brands in the world.
