Experience: Visiting the Vacheron Constantin 'Suite 1755' at The West Hollywood Edition Hotel. A Perfect Friday in the City of Angels.

This past Friday, June 16, 2023, we had the pleasure to finally visit the recently opened Vacheron Constantin ‘Suite 1755’ at The West Hollywood Edition. This temporary space was opened at the end of April 2023, as a private appointment-only lounge while the total renovation of the Rodeo Drive Vacheron Constantin Boutique takes place. The space offers a relaxed, private setting for watch collectors to engage with Vacheron Constantin at a new level.

After our flight to L.A. we checked into the Pendry, a fabulous hotel in the heart of the Hollywood Hills and just a short drive away from The West Hollywood Edition.

The West Hollywood Edition is located on the corner of West Sunset Boulevard and North Doheny Drive, where West Hollywood meets Beverly Hills. Featuring 140 guest rooms and 48 suites with 2 penthouses. The hotel also features 20 luxury residences and over 6,500 square feet of meeting and event space. The hotel boasts inspiring and sophisticated outlets which include a signature restaurant, lobby lounge, basement club, expansive rooftop pool, and a 6-treatment room spa. The hotel features an incredible rooftop with amazing food and spectacular views of L.A.

As soon as we walked into ‘Suite 1755’, we were blown away by the decor in this exquisite suite with a wraparound balcony. The ‘Suite 1755’ —named after the year of the founding of the Vacheron Constantin manufacture— is an incredibly welcoming and exquisitely decorated space.

The moment you walk into the Vacheron Constantin ‘Suite 1755’ you are immediately greeted by a carpet in the shape of the Maltese cross and a foyer decorated by L.A.-based artist Gregory Siff.

In the main area, a column in the shape of the Maltese cross takes center stage to give the space a very unique look and feel. Throughout the space, guests get also immersed in a photography reel projected onto a metal surface in one of the rooms by famed Los Angeles artist Sid Avery —who famously shot intimate moments of Old Hollywood’s’ most private stars such as Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor. A foosball table, a Marantz turntable, and a Marantz amplifier are some of the goodies visitors get to enjoy while spending time at the suite.

An exquisite experience in itself where we got to spend some great quality time with the team from Vacheron Constantin and met with L.A.-based watch collectors while sipping decadent cocktails, eating gourmet hors d’oeuvres, playing foosball and perusing the new Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date recently released at Watches & Wonders Geneva.

The Vacheron Constantin ‘Suite 1755’ will remain open for a few more weeks before it's permanently shut down. The suite is located on the first floor of The West Hollywood Edition Hotel and it’s a place you have to visit if you are a fan of Vacheron Constantin like we are. Thank you for having us Vacheron Constantin.
