SIHH 2017: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra-Thin 18K Yellow Gold ref. 15202BA. Hands-on Live Pictures & Pricing.

Finally, today we were able to see all of the Audemars Piguet novelties in the metal. The new 18K yellow gold Royal Oak Extra-Thin is simply gorgeous, especially with its vintage-inspired champagne color dial ref. 15202BA.OO.1240BA.02. With regards to the blue dial version ref. 15202BA.OO.1240BA.01 that is supposed to feature a lighter shade of blue when compared to its counterpart in 18K rose gold, we really couldn't see much of a difference next to it. Regardless, these are two fantastic watches out of almost twenty novelties released by AP. Originally introduced in gold in 1977 the first 18K yellow gold 39 mm Royal Oak remains an icon. Without further ado please enjoy this live pictures of the two new Royal Oaks in 18K yellow gold.

Both pieces still measure 39 mm in diameter like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra-Thin are still powered by the automatic calibre 2121 with 36 jewels, 247 parts and which provides a power reserve of 40 hours. The calibre still features the same partially skeletonized oscillating weight with the AP logo on it.

On the wrist, the watches wear simply exactly like all other Royal Oaks Extra-Thin but the vintage-inspired champagne dial one is definitely our favorite one. See for yourselves and see what you think.

Sticker Price $55,400 USD — same price as the previous 18K rose gold reference. For more info on Audemars Piguet click here.
