SIHH 2019: Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Small Seconds Burgundy Red. Live Pictures & Pricing.

Paying tribute to the original and first Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso launched in 1931 comes a new iteration of the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in stainless steel this time sporting an intriguing burgundy red dial. In a hue that could also be described as ‘ox-blood’ color, the watch is equipped with a Casa Fagliano matching red strap. Created in the 1931 as a convenient watch for polo players, the purpose of the Reverso was to be able to maintain the front of the watch protected during a polo match by virtue of swiveling and exposing a solid case back on the front. A perfect example of the Art Deco movement, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Small Seconds Burgundy Red is one of the sexiest Reversos out there.

By simply reversing the case, the Reverso becomes an item of jewellery that can be personalized with a custom engraving as the 'verso' side of the case is highly polished and completely sterile.

Deep red in color, it imbues the new Reverso Tribute Small Seconds with a special aura. The stainless steel case measuring 45.6 mm long, 27.4 mm wide and 8.5 mm thick features the unmistakable three grooves of the Reverso watch on the top and the bottom of the case.

The Burgundy Red dial —ox blood like we like to call it— is simply incredibly looking and very refined with the usual Chemin de fer —railway— minute track in white. The small seconds at 6 o’clock take the center stage providing great readability and perfect balance across all elements on the dial.

The matching burgundy red strap is made of extremely supple calf leather crafted by Casa Fagliano, the most important and renowned polo and saddlery company from Argentina known to collaborate with Jaeger-LeCoultre on a regular basis. The strap is very smooth to the touch and it features a bright red contrast stitching.
