With the fully redesigned case and crystal from last year, this new watch is a perfect addition for those in love with yellow gold. With primal curves from a pebble smoothed by the water from a mountain stream, the new HYT H0 'Feel the HYT' Edition is very minimalist and eye-catching with its 18K yellow gold case paired with bright red fluid and a bright red rubber strap.
With a play on words, its name "Feel the HYT", alludes to those that like to "Feel the Heat" through their exclusive and very original timepieces. Hot. Holistic. Hypnotic. About the Watch
The new redesigned case really limits the use of metal and maximizes the size and shape of the sapphire crystal. The watch measures 48.8 mm in diameter and 17.9 mm in thickness and is made of 18K satin finished yellow gold. The H0 'Feel the HYT' Edition features bright red fluid. Augmented by a futuristic design, the minutes can be read via a hand positioned in a subdial at 12 o'clock and the seconds via a small counter at 9 o'clock. The practical cutaway at 2 o'clock enables the power reserve level to be read as necessary.
The new HYT H0 'Feel the HYT' is a very sexy watch and its gold opaline dial has been engraved with markers and numerals with superluminova, even the immiscible colored fluid has been enhanced with superluminova. With brushed and micro-blasted counters at different levels, the gray text that reads "FEEL THE HYT" spans across them. The engraved dial features red accents that are discreet in appearance and a bright red HYT logo on the profile of the case at 6 o'clock.
Engraved on the profile of the case and accentuated by red markings, the hours appear in 24-hour military time format more commonly utilized outside of the United States and in the rest of the world. The 24-hour format is in which the day runs from midnight to midnight and is divided into 24 hours, indicated by the hours passed since midnight, from 0 to 23. I.e. 14 hours would be 2pm and 18 hours would be 6pm.
With a very prominent domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the dial side, a screw-down crown and sapphire display case back, the HYT H0 'Feel the HYT' is water resistant to 30 meters. Equipped with very supple and malleable red rubber strap fastened by a deployant buckle in titanium with micro-adjustment, the new HYT H0 'Feel the HYT' is accompanied also by a bright red alligator strap.
The Movement
Powering the new HYT H0 'Feel the HYT' is the manual wound HYT calibre 101 with 35 jewels. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 to provide a power reserve of 65 hours. This amazing movement with HYT’s exclusive patented micro-fluidic module includes two multi-layer metal bellows, capillary tube in medical grade glass with interior nano-coating, two immiscible liquids —one transparent and the other colored with a highly resistant dye—, thermal compensator with dedicated bellows containing a special liquid and ceramic fluid restrictors.
