Richard Mille was launched in 2001 by Richard Mille himself. The first timepiece was the RM 001 Tourbillon, in an initial series of 17 watches. Some of the most acclaimed models include the RM 11 Felipe Massa, the RM 53-01 Tourbillon Pablo Mac Donough which features the first laminated sapphire glass in watchmaking, the ultra-light RM 27 Rafael Nadal, the RM 50-02 ACJ Split Seconds Chronograph, the RM 50-02 Tourbillon Split Seconds Chronograph McLaren and the brand’s most complicated watch to date the RM 62-01 Tourbillon Vibrating Alarm ACJ. Richard Mille produces less than 5,000 watches annually.
